Project Manager - Solar

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all commercial & industrial solar installation projects are delivered on time, within the range and allocated budget.
• Use standard project methodology and tools to track progress against deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project.
• Communicate project activities to relevant stakeholders as defined by the communication plan, including progress, budget, risks, and issues.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques provided.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Perform risk assessments and project trials to minimize project risks.
• Ensure that build and installation reports are completed and validated with the Technical team.
• Commission all solar installations to organization specifications and ensure sign-off with all clients regarding equipment installed and service quality achieved at installation.
• Manage workers/contractors at the site to ensure quality & delivery of projects.
• Represent the company at the client's site and respond to clients' needs from time to time.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least a diploma in Electrical Engineering; a bachelor's degree in the same field is preferred.
• T3 License 7 years of relevant work/management experience, with at least two years managing complex projects of solar installation commissioning at commercial & industrial levels.
• Team and contractor leadership and budget oversight.
• Results and detail oriented with a very hands-on approach.
• Able to operate under high pressure with limited resources.
