COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Job Description: As the Commercial Manager for our farming operation, he will be responsible for managing our production base, reporting to our customers, and developing new markets. He will transition from a pull marketing strategy to a push marketing strategy to increase our revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong agr icultural production, marketing, and sales background and can communicate effectively with customers and internal teams..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our production base to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute a push marketing strategy to increase sales and revenue.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers to identify their needs and provide them with the required products and services.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure we produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead negotiations with customers and suppliers to ensure we get the best deals.
  • Manage a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve our business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry organizations, government agencies, and community groups.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all our customers worldwide, providing them with timely and accurate information regarding our products, services, and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Work closely with our logistics and customer service teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity, and provide regular reports to the management team.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in international markets.
  • Travel to visit customers and attend industry events as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in agricultural science, marketing, business administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in agricultural production, marketing, and sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of farming practices and production processes.
